When you're happy with your script and your footages, it's time to export.

Export settings

Before exporting, head to the Export Settings panel to configure your export:

• Resolution — 1920×1080, vertical for TikTok/Reels, etc.
• Framerate
• Audio source

Export your timeline

Click Export timeline in the top right menu. Precut will generate:

• A .fcpxml file ready to import into Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• An .xml file for Adobe Premiere

Export your subtitles

Two .srt subtitle files are exported at the same time:

• One containing the paragraphs of your script
• One containing the transcriptions of your video files

Export a specific section

You can export only part of your script. In the Table of Contents on the right panel, select one or several titles — only those sections will be exported. Useful for exporting just the sponsor segment for example.
